ICF Coach Training Hours

The CTPHP Mastery Course is excited to offer ICF Approved CCE hours to students! Students have the opportunity to receive a total of 60 ICF Coach Training Hours that can be used for the Portfolio Path. 

Students will receive certificates detailing their completed ICF coach training hours after each quarter. 

In order to receive their certificates, students must fill out appropriate Google Forms acknowledging that they have completed all coursework, resource development, and/or any makeup assignments because of missed class. STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE NEXT QUARTER BEGINS.  

Students are responsible for keeping track of this and sending in the forms.  We will send supportive reminders to help you stay on track. If the form is not completed, students will not receive a certificate.

To date, the Coach Training Program For Helping Professionals has been approved to provide the following Continuing Coach Education (CCE) to students:

Students are able to also see this on the ICF website under approved training. 

The overall CTPHP program follows teachings that pull from each of these approved Programs (listed under Program Name).  The breakdown of each program’s hours are below:

Winter Quarter: Certificate for 15 ICF hours 

  • Students will receive 5.5 Core Competency hours and .5 Resource Development hour for Cultivating Trust, Safety, & Active Listening for Therapists Who Coach 
  • Students will receive 8 Core Competency hours and 1 Resource Development hour in Evoking Awareness for Therapists Who Coach

Spring Quarter: Certificate for 14 hours

  • Students will receive 5.25 Core Competency hours in Ethics for Therapists Who Coach
  • Students will receive 2.75 Core Competency hours in Evoking Awareness for Therapists Who Coach
  • Students will receive 5.5 Core Competency hours and .5 Resource Development hour in Evoking Awareness for Therapists Who Coach

Summer Quarter: Certificate for 16 hours

  • Students will receive 7 Core Competency hours and 1 Resource Development hour in Coaching Mindset and Presence for Therapists Who Coach
  • Students will receive 7 Core Competency hours and 1 Resource Development hour in Facilitating Client Growth for Therapists Who Coach

Fall Quarter: Certificate for 15 hours

  • Students will receive 11 Core Competency hours and 1 Resource Development hour in Establishing and Maintaining Agreements for Therapists Who Coach

  •  Students will receive 3 Core Competency hours in Facilitating Client Growth for Therapists Who Coach
