The Coaching School For Therapists
In nine months: ICF-accredited training, a scope your licensing board would recognize, and a coaching offer with a price on it. (All without compromising your professional values and license)
APPLY NOWTo the therapist reading this right now…
You have clients who finished the hard part a while ago. They still come to see you. In fact, they’ve joked about using you as an executive coach.
You have thought about coaching. You have probably thought about it for more than a year. And every time you get close to doing something, the same question stops you cold:
"Can I really add coaching without risking and compromising everything I've built?"
You’re asking the right question. It is also answerable, precisely, in a way almost nobody in the coaching industry will answer for you.
The Reality Many Therapists Are Facing Right Now...
- You are doing coaching work at therapy rates. Not with everyone. With the clients who are high-functioning, forward-moving, and no longer symptomatic.
- Insurance sets your ceiling and someone else sets your rate. You bill, they reimburse less, it arrives in forty-five days, and the panel can cut you without asking.
- People with no license and no training are charging more than you. You did the master's, the three thousand supervised hours, the board exam, the CEs, the malpractice premium. Someone with a weekend certificate is charging four times your rate.
- You cannot say, in one sentence, where therapy ends and coaching starts. Not vaguely. Precisely. In language your board would accept.
So you don't move.
Because what you are protecting is worth more than what you might gain, and that math is correct until you have the training.
APPLY NOWYou learn coaching the way a clinician should: ethics first, then the eight.
First, you learn where the line is. Scope, disclosure, agreements, dual-role risk, and what you do when a coaching client says something clinical. This is the thing that has been stopping you, so it's the first thing you learn, not a compliance checkbox at the end.
Then you build the skill, in eight modules mapped to the ICF Core Competencies.
Then you leave with a coaching offer that has a price on it.
Nine months. Eight modules you take at your own pace. Four live rooms a week, each one an hour, each one ending on time because everyone in it has a client at one o'clock.
Meet your professor
Hi, my name is Dr. Liz Lasky - and here's why I build The Coaching School For Therapists
Short version: it did not exist when I needed it!
It all started when I was fresh out of school and seeing a therapist every week. I only did it because I thought that to be a good social worker, my brain needed to be SHRINK’D.
Every week I’d go to therapy, and leave feeling worse until I finally asked myself what the hell I was actually doing.
Then I found coaching and it was the change of pace I needed (sorry, therapist!)
It was brand new, so exciting, and just what this Doctor of Social Work ordered. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose, another way to support clients, and th nerve to show up and disrupt the status quo.
Now I have my own practice, I have been published in journals on coaching and social work, and I teach coaching skills to helping professionals like you.
Here is the part most coaching trainers cannot say. My published work is on the ethical congruence between coaching and social work. I am not a coach who simply read about ethics one time. I am the person who did the research.
So here is what I build for you...
So, here is what I built for us...
INTRODUCING
THE COACHING CERTIFICATION
ICF-accredited coach training, built by a clinician, for people with a license to protect
APPLY NOWICF-accredited training
60 hours of ICF-approved asynchronous training across eight modules, plus up to 30 live coach training hours in the weekly rooms. The International Coaching Federation is the credentialing body for this profession, and this program is accredited by it.
Asynchronous modules, live practice
The modules go at your speed, at 6am or on a dog walk. The live rooms are where the skill actually gets built, because nobody has ever learned to coach by watching a video about coaching. You need both, and most programs only sell you one.
Weekly Coaching Labs
Four rooms a week with Dr. Liz and the faculty. You coach, you get watched, you get feedback on your actual sessions. Two of the four count toward your ICF hours.
A private community of licensed clinicians only
Not a general coaching community. Everyone in the room holds a license and understands what you are protecting. All of the four faculty came through this program as students.
What makes it different...
90 hours of training. Eight modules. Four rooms a week. Here is what it actually looks like:
ICF-ACCREDITED TRAINING
60 hours of ICF-approved asynchronous training across eight modules, plus up to 30 live coach-training hours in the weekly rooms. The International Coaching Federation is the governing body and this program is accredited by it.
Asynchronous modules + live practice.
The modules move at your speed, at 6am or on a dog walk. The live rooms are where the skill gets built, because nobody has ever learned to coach by watching a video about coaching. You need both. Most programs sell you one.
Weekly Coaching Labs
Four rooms a week with Dr. Liz and faculty. You coach, you get watched, you get feedback on your actual sessions.
A private community of clinicians only
This is NOT a general coaching community. Everyone in the room is a helping professional. Many hold a license and understand what you are protecting. All four faculty members came through this program as students! You are with your people!
The eight modules...
Learn to coach, in eight parts
The eight modules are based on the ICF core competencies broken into pieces. Each one ends with a quiz that credits the module to your file. You can take them in any order, though there is a recommended path.
01 · Ethics. Say where the line is, in a sentence.
02 · Listens Actively. The version of listening that is not clinical assessment. Harder than it sounds after a decade of doing the other thing.
03 · Coaching Mindset & Presence. Sit in the chair without reaching for the intervention you are trained to reach for.
04 · Cultivating Trust & Safety. Build it fast, with a client who is not a patient and did not come to you broken.
05 · Evoking Client Awareness. The core move. The client sees it themselves instead of you handing it over.
06 · Facilitating Client Growth. What happens between sessions so the work holds.
07 · Designing Actions. Turning insight into actions.
08 · Agreements for the Engagement. What you are contracting for, what you are not, and how to say both before you start.
The Four Weekly Rooms
Monday · Coaching Lab, 12–1pm ET. Where you actually coach and get watched. Breakouts, peer coaching with faculty support, and sometimes you watch Dr. Liz coach live. The rule of Coaching Lab is: try so hard you make a mistake. Led by Dr. Liz or Rachel McNeil, a graduate of this program. Counts toward ICF hours.
Tuesday · Coworking, 12–1pm ET. One protected hour with your camera off and your list open. Run by Rosina Robinson, also a graduate.
Wednesday · Business Class, 12–1pm ET. Packaging, pricing, and what you are actually selling. Ten-minute hot seats. Co-taught with Alisha Bowker, also a graduate.
Thursday · Live Q&A, 12–1pm ET. Bring a question. Ethics, a client who said something you are still chewing on, anything. Always Dr. Liz.
Plus the Sunday Strategy Session, a weekly email that makes you decide what you are actually doing this week rather than drifting through it.
Three reasons The Coaching School For Therapists exists (and why it matters)
- One. This is the only ICF-accredited coach certification built specifically for licensed therapists. Not adapted for them. Built for them, by one, whose academic interest is the ethics of exactly this transition.
- Two. You get the training hours you need if you ever want to take this to the ICF, including the live hours a self-paced course cannot give you. You do not have to decide today whether you want that route. Your training hours do not expire.
- Three. The business pillar is core, not an upgrade. You will not finish holding a certificate with no idea what to do with it. We help you create a coaching offer to sell.

You need them anyway. You were going to buy them anyway. Almost no coach training on earth can give them to you, because almost none of them were built for licensed people.
(Valued at $1500)
APPLY NOWThe Coaching School For Therapists is definitely for you if:
-
You are a licensed clinician. LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist, licensed counselor, etc.
-
You may already be using coaching skills inside your sessions and you are not certain you are allowed to.
-
You want to add something, not leave something. Ready to impact more people and transform the lives of others more deeply—without the boundaries set by the expectations of the industry.
-
Want to experience expansion in all areas of your life—making more money, helping more people, having more time for yourself, and experiencing excitement and self-fulfillment on the daily
This is NOT for you if:
- You are not a therapist. The live program is built for clinicians and the entire ethical spine assumes you have something to protect.
- You want someone to build your audience for you. I teach you to coach and to build an offer. I do not run your funnel, and I will say so on the call if that is what you actually need.
- You want to continue being told what to charge and how much money you can make.
- You like to play small and aren't willing to invest in professional (and personal!) growth.
The future is calling.
Your path from here
STEP 1.
Apply, then we talk.
Click the button to answer a few questions and schedule your call. We work out if this is your next move. If yes, I make you a personalized strategy. If all feels aligned, I will send you a checkout link and you will be in the student portal the same day.
STEP 2.
Start immediately.
You get portal access by email the moment you enroll, plus a contract so you know exactly what you are getting. Caitlin, our Dean of Students, reaches out to welcome you. Most students learn a new coaching skill in the very first module.
STEP 3.
Coach, badly, on purpose!
Come to Coaching Lab before you feel ready. Especially before you feel ready. The readiness comes from the reps, not before them.
STEP 4.
Finish with a practice, not just a certificate
Eight modules, up to 30 live hours, and an offer with a price on it. Then stay in the alumni program for $97/month if you want to keep up the momentum and in the rooms.
The Coaching School For Therapists is unlike anything out there in the world.
TRUST ME. I LOOKED!
Before I built it, I went looking for the program I wanted to take. A coach training that took the ICF seriously and also understood what a license is, what a board is, and what it costs to lose one.
It did not exist. Generic coach schools are built for people with no license to lose, so they will teach you to coach and never tell you where the line is. They have never had one to cross. A general therapist-to-coach program sells you a mindset. And the business programs, the ones a lot of you have already paid for, do not speak clinician at all.
If you have already spent four or five figures on one of those and it did not land, you are not unusual. It comes up on almost every call I take.
This runs like a graduate program, because that is what it is. Eight modules mapped to a professional standard, assessed, with live practice and faculty feedback on your actual sessions. Not a video library with a certificate at the end.
Chances like this don't last forever.
And they won't wait around for you, either.
When a program is so specialized like this, it requires a lot of attention and commitment from the person who is leading it.
I am adamant about keeping class sizes small. This is so each student gets all the attention they need to be extremely confident in their coaching by the end of the 9 months.
After this class fills up, I’m closing off registration and you’ll need to wait for the next cohort to become available. I don’t know when that will be. But even if I did—don't you think you’ve waited long enough already?

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COACH TRAINING PROGRAMS?

For those of you who are on the fence...
Let's get real – you've been on the fence for years already.
Honest question: Isn’t your butt sore from all that sitting?!
It doesn’t make sense to put this decision off any longer.
Now, I know the price of this program is a few thousand dollars…
But the cost of doing nothing is so much greater.
If you decide to wait a little longer, here’s what’ll happen:
You’ll never enter your next stage of growth, which is totally natural after spending years in the industry.
You’ll miss the chance to be bigger and do better than the person you are right now, and experience deep self-fulfillment in all areas of life.
And you’ll spend the rest of your life on the fence, butt sore, thinking, “What if—?” without ever knowing the answer.
No one wants to reach the end of their life and have regrets thinking about the person they could have become.
So don’t let that be you.
If you’re seriously interested in using coaching to make more money, help more people and discover that you have the power to create a life that is downright incredible…
Then The Coaching School For Therapists has everything you need and more to get you there in less than a year.
